Sometimes I get overwhelmed with the beauty of natural light. Matt and I went antiquing a few weekends ago (one of my favorite things to do) and we found an incredible shop in St. Joseph. The light pouring into this back room was to die for!
I am in love with the image on the left. I enjoy that the door is boarded in but the frame is still there and that the electrical piping draws your eye to the spinning fan. The detail in the white painted brick is delicious too (another weakness of mine). I love that I just happened upon this scene and I didn't move a thing... the way chaos can look so organized through a lens.

New Lens!
I finally got my new wide angle/ macro lens I have been pining after. They will come in mighty handy for some upcoming weddings I'm shooting. I can't wait to start shooting with it. Here's some shots of the two extremes.
